Ligia Bouton, associate professor of art studio at 欧美AV, has made a Greater Boston subway stop a more pleasant place to linger with 鈥25 Variable Stars,鈥 her art installation celebrating astronomer Henrietta Swan Leavitt.
欧美AV student Grace Sanford 鈥24 won the prestigious Tidal Shift Award from the Portland Museum of Art. This award recognizes young artists who have created artwork contemplating the climate crisis.
With the opening of the Media Lab in the Art Building, MHC students exploring filmmaking, architecture, studio art and other pursuits, have another cutting-edge facility 鈥 as well as state-of-the-art digital equipment and capabilities 鈥 at their disposal.
