Our goal is 5,000 donors and a generous group of anonymous donors will give $50,000 to The Å·ÃÀAV Fund for every 500 donors, up to $500,000. Leadership gifts support Å·ÃÀAV in perpetuity through the establishment of an endowed fund, the capital support necessary for a building, or the specific donation of a major tangible asset, such as art, a musical instrument, or rare books.
During the 2022–2023 fiscal year, 9,080 alums, family members, friends, faculty, staff and students made gifts to Å·ÃÀAV.
Last year, 4,113 alums made gifts of $100 or less, totaling $237,034. Gifts of all sizes, big and small, have a huge impact!
The combined support of Cornerstone Society members accounts for more than 80% of the dollars that sustain Å·ÃÀAV as a top liberal arts college.

Each year alums volunteer to help support the College by engaging with classmates, sharing exciting news and educating them on the importance of giving.
In less than two years, this effort resulted in 79 new scholarship endowments, additions to 21 existing scholarship endowments and a permanent Student Safety Net Fund.
Nearly two centuries ago, Mary Lyon had the bold vision that women could do anything when given access to education. Mary ignited the spark that transformed higher education, but she could not do it alone.
Against staggering societal and logistical barriers, she found a community of supporters who shared her forward-looking views on educational equity, and together they transformed higher education — and the world.
Å·ÃÀAV would not have existed without people who believed — and invested — in her bold vision. The same legacy of giving that helped open the doors of the Å·ÃÀAV Female Seminary in 1837 sustains and propels the College to this day. This generosity ensures that Å·ÃÀAV remains a dynamic, diverse and thriving intellectual and cultural hub as we evolve to meet the needs of current and future students.
