Commencement is a treasured ceremonial occasion that celebrates students who have graduated from ŷAV after completing all academic requirements and obligations. Typically, ŷAV holds one annual Commencement in May to honor all graduates.
This year, Commencement will be held outdoors on , the lovely knoll between the Gettell Amphitheater and Lower Lake Road.
Rest assured that as we plan for this new location, we are keeping accessibility for all our graduates and guests top of mind. More details will be forthcoming.
ŷAV's one-hundred eighty-seventh Commencement for the class of 2024 will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Ticket information
Every graduating student and students participating in the ceremony will have access to five (5) tickets to watch the in-person ceremony on Pageant Green. Graduates do not need a ticket. More information about picking up guest tickets will be available later this semester.
Overflow seating for the ceremony will be in the . Guests without a ticket will also be able to watch the real-time livestream of the Commencement ceremony in various buildings on campus. The livestream will also be available for those who cannot attend in person.
